Our Space
Fiction & Friction is a Romance Bookstore located in Murray Bridge, South Australia. We have a large shop with an Event Space that has a separate entry in our alley way, plus entry through our shop as well. The space is accessible from inside our shop but behind a curtain and door so it remains private.
What can you hire our space for?
Outside of our Craft Parties we have the option of you hiring our event space and bringing your own activities or using the space for something else.
You can hire our space for private events when the store is closed or events when the store is open. The space is behind a curtain and door from the shop which means it can still be private, you just won't have private access to the full shop.

When is the space available?
If you want to host an private event with private access to the whole shop is cannot be during our opening times which are below.
- Thursday: 1:00pm - 6:00pm
- Friday: 1:00pm - 5:00pm
- Saturday: 12:00pm - 4:00pm
- Sunday: 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Outside of these times we can work with you and our schedules to pick a time and date for what will work for you and us.
Events can be hosted during our opening times or outside of those hours. Please reach out to us at hello@fictionandfriction.com.au if you'd like to organise something. Prices start at $150 for two hours.
