Shipping, Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Please note that order processing times and shipping times are separate. Once your order has been posted, I no longer have control over how long it takes to reach you.
Processing Times
- In-stock orders are usually processed within 4–14 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
- You’ll receive an email notification when your order has shipped.
- Preorder items may take up to 8 weeks or longer depending on the title and timing. Full details are provided at the time of preorder.
- If there’s a high volume of orders, processing times may increase. Updates are shared on social media.
Domestic Shipping (Australia)
- Flat rate of $15 for orders under $250.
- Free standard shipping Australia-wide for orders $250 and over in a single transaction.
- Delivery estimates: 1–6 business days depending on location (delays possible during peak periods).

International Shipping
We currently ship to Australia and New Zealand only.
New Zealand
- Orders under $250: Shipping calculated at checkout.
- Orders $250 and over: Free shipping applies.
- Delivery times: usually 3–10 business days, depending on location.
At this stage, we don’t ship to the US or other countries.
Order Tracking
When your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking to update.
If your order hasn’t arrived within 10 business days (Australia) or 15 business days (New Zealand), please email hello@fictionandfriction.com.au with your order number.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
- Change of mind: We don’t accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final.
- Damaged orders: If your order arrives damaged, email hello@fictionandfriction.com.au with your order number and a photo. We’ll review each case individually and do our best to help.
- Order issues: If something is missing, doubled up, or you’ve received extras by mistake, please get in touch so we can fix it quickly.
